Environment Group & SDG Bloggers

Picture
The IST Environment group is a student-led CAS project that was set up three years ago at the International School of Toulouse with a website designed by one of my Geography students, Harry. He features in the first video below. The group quickly developed from blogging about environmental issues to blogging about issues that specifically relate to the 2030 SDG's. The IBDP Geography students have a good working knowledge of these goals due to their inclusion in the curriculum and the work that they do on their induction - link here.  The group have led assemblies and carried out awareness raising campaigns in the school community. They do not aim to raise any money at all, but meet weekly to discuss the coming target Goals and who is responsible for writing. Click on the banner below to access their site.
